On Tuesday Nov 10 the Lady Roadrunners soccer team completed their conference play, closing the season with a (6-4-2) record. The Lady Roadrunners finished a respectable third place overall in conference standings behind San Bernardino Valley College and Antelope Valley College.… Post the First Comment

Rio's women's water polo ended in seventh place at the Foothill Conference Championship at Chaffey College this past Nov. 5 & 7. While at the conference the Lady Roadrunners played three matches against Long Beach, El Camino and Los Angeles Trade Tech (LATT).… Post the First Comment

The NFL season is heating up and most teams are about halfway through their schedule. The colts are decimated with injuries and are still unbeaten. They haven't missed a beat with new head coach Jim Caldwell. The Saints are still unstoppable for the time being, and probably the surprise team of the year would be the Cincinnati Bengals.… Post the First Comment

Rio Hondo's women's basketball team opened the season on a sour note Nov. 6 when Long Beach City College handed the Roadrunners a 64-44 thumping in the Viking's gym. The Lady Roadrunners tailed 32-20 at the half and were never able to recover. Long Beach City College shot 35 percent for the game, but Rio Hondo didn't shoot much better, as they shot a woeful 26 percent from the field.… Post the First Comment

For the past five months the Roadrunners have been though countless hours of intense training, plenty of long distance travel and 21 gut-busting games, in addition to their studies. Throughout, the Roadrunners have faced relentless opponents who genuinely viewed them as the team to beat and they usually stopped at nothing to pull them off their game.… Post the First Comment

The Rio Hondo Men's basketball team is training hard for their upcoming home game against East Los Angeles College on Thursday Nov. 24.
