Youthful tennis team gets season underway
The women's tennis team started the Foothill Conference on a strong note. Having clinching their first win of the season on March 4 in a close match against Victor Valley College.
It was a very close match said head coach Karen Unger. The winds were very high that day which made for a tough match, but the Lady Roadrunners were able pull through a tough one and come out with a 5-4 win.…

Track team performs well
Rio Hondo's Track and Field team traveled on Friday, March 5 to attend Cal State Northridge's Invitational Track Meet.
Rain did not stop the Roadrunners from performing at their best; the meet was delayed for the first hour due to the pouring rain, and it continued to sprinkle for the remainder of the event.…

Roadrunners hit a tough stretch
Last weekend on their home field, the Dirty Birds of Rio Hondo battled the Rams of Victor Valley College in a three game series that began on Thursday in Victorville. The 2pm affair was ended in 18-10 win over the Rams.
The victory came in the middle of one of the toughest stretches of the season, playing 5 games in 5 days.…

Rio basketball program lends hand to Boys & Girls Club
The Men and Women of Rio Hondo's basketball teams gave back by providing a free skills clinic to the Boy's and Girl's club of Whittier on February 24.
