Cafeteria food nightmare

I have no idea what has happened to the thought of "health food" here at Rio Hondo College, it's almost as if the cafeteria means to serve greasy, artery clogging food, without the concern of anybody's health.
I've only been coming to Rio for about 2 semesters, and I usually tried to pack my lunch at home, so I wouldn't have to spend money on the overly priced food sold here, but occasionally I would forget, so I had to resort on going to that horrid place called the cafeteria. I'm sure a lot of people don't mind the food here, but in all honesty they have no other choice.
Anybody who wants to have a "well balanced" meal in between classes has to drive 3 miles down Workman Mill Road, and still have to come back to find that their parking spot has been taken, due to the always fun hunt for a nice and fitting parking spot. So of course the cafeteria always seems like the safest option for convenience.
The closest thing I've seen to "health food", were the tiny stand with Odwalla bars, maybe those $2 bags of nuts in the bookstore, and some vitamin water. I don't know if the people who put that stuff there thought that would be enough to satisfy the student whose looking to eat little healthier.
Where did all the "brain food" go? How am I supposed to think straight, when the greasy bean and rice burrito I just ate, is coming back for round 2 while I'm in my political science class? When you have to got to go, you got to go.
It's probably safe to say that the school maybe isn't funded enough to create healthy food options, but is it really that hard to create any options at all?
Maybe I'm the only who feels this way, maybe I'm the complainer, but I'm sure people don't like driving out of school to grab a good well balanced meal, or eating breakfast burritos and $4 dollar salads for the rest of their stay here.
I'm not saying to put a Subway here or a Jamba Juice, its just sometimes I would love to come to school and look forward to buying my breakfast or lunch here as opposed to dreading it.
