This past semester we have all suffered from the huge increase in student population, parking hell, registration frustration, and lines that look like you're at Disneyland. Whatever, that's life.

What drives me abso-freaking-lutely mad is when I'm late to my class on account of a group of divas using the walkways as 'gossip time', and they always have to be in the MIDDLE of the ENTIRE hallway!

I don't mind the iPhone addict nor do I mind the other distractions in class- the teacher checks that, it's their room. The walkways and the stairways are public domains, which mean we're all coming and going in different directions and when there is an interruption that makes everyone late and pissed off.

It's bad enough that there are still issues with the parking situation and now we're all more stressed out with registration- so ease the irritation level and move-out-of-the-way. Ladies, I'm not hating on your huge sunglasses, Coach bags or dismissing your problems, but either walk faster, or move out of the way! Nor do I hate on the iPod guy who also slows the crowd down while he's searching for music and flipping through his phone. All I'm asking is for a little courtesy.

The little sitting areas that are built into the walls are there for situations such as these. Sit down, relax for a while. Text addicts, you do this too. Even the people who talk too loud on their phones get the hint and chill there. And as for the couples who are glued to each other- also have courtesy! Those sitting areas are not hot spots, their so that people like me who actually want to be on time don't have to be late on account of the slow paced Twilight freak on their iPhone!.

None of us want to stay here forever so please, move out of the way! Show some courtesy for those of us who actually WANT to get to class, look fabulous (or dumb) on your own time!
